Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA) is an innovative approach that aims to identify, quantify, and reduce waste or inefficiency in a product design. For us, timber engineers, it means adding a new layer to value engineering.
DfMA has driven our work since the firm was established in 2007. That is why we decided to host a free conference online with international experts in May: don’t miss the DfMAy conference on May 26th from 16:00 to 18:00 (UTC +1)!
We will dedicate the whole month of May to the topic, and explore the DfMA methodology from a historical and practical perspective, illustrating how we’ve used it in our past projects.
