The first edition of Urbanpromo Green is held in Venice, at the IUAV University, on 21 and 22 September 2017.
This particular location declares the identity of a city-centered event that wants to characterize itself in scientific and cultural terms, and be linked to scientific research, technical professions, public administration, business world.
The aim of the Conference is to deal with the theme of the use of wood as a contemporary material that can be used fully in a current urban context, both in the case of new buildings and renovations. The Conference intends to present in a wide and thorough way the multiple variations of wood material in today’s construction sector (structural, coating, protective, with insulation functions, etc.), providing a state of the art of its Applications. To this end, the involvement of operators in the sector with various specificities (manufacturers, distributors, designers, suppliers of materials and components, consortia, etc.) will allow to address the subject from various angles, returning a framework as Complete and updated possible.
