This month I'm pleased to host a friend I've been working with for years. Did you know our children spend almost 1000 (one thousand) hours in schools? What do you think about showing the benefits of timber from the early age? What about growing them in a healthy environment? Timber is the right choice and this is also the thinking of the municipality. And of the designer!
Timber alone is not enough so we, as designers, need to take into consideration also the acoustic insulation to ensure a high level of comfort in every situation: school, residential, office building, etc... Impact sound insulation plays an important role and in this article we give some important tips for the design of timber slabs. |
