4 storey office building entirely made of timber with a pre-assembled facade.

This 4 storey building is completely made of CLT panels. The building size is 10 x 16m and the only steel elements are screws, plates and dowels for the connections.
Due to the lack of CLT producer in the African continent, the design required that all the timber element’s size was adapted to be transported in containers from the production to the building site. The facade system is completely pre-assembled off-site. This will significantly reduce time and costs on the building site ensuring a better quality of the result.
