Because we offer designers and general contractors the chance of designing and building using timber, exploiting its potential 100% and without being tied down to any kind of company or product. We therefore offer that FREEDOM that until now had never been a prerogative of this wonderful construction material.

Xlam or, more correctly, Cross Laminated Timber (CLT), is a material composed of a minimum of three layers of wooden boards, glued one perpendicular to the other.
Every element has different stiffness in the x or y direction of the reference axes, due to both the intrinsic orthotropy of timber and to the particular crossed-layers geometry.
A 5-storey building made of curved-in-plan CLT walls, designed by architect Paolo Cavallin, is being erected in Verona. (more…)
